CoinWorld News, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian hosted a routine press conference. On June 7th, local time, Iran launched four rounds of missile attacks on Israel in response to the deadly airstrikes Israel carried out a few hours earlier on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. A reporter from AFP asked at the meeting, what is China’s comment on the weekend mutual attacks between Iran and Israel? Lin Jian stated that China is deeply concerned about the current situation, and the resumption of hostilities is not in the interests of any party. We hope that all relevant parties will fulfill their ceasefire commitments, maintain the momentum of negotiations, insist on resolving disputes through political and diplomatic means, and achieve a comprehensive and lasting ceasefire as soon as possible, creating the necessary conditions for the restoration of peace and stability in the Middle East and Gulf region.
