$GT Hello, the phenomenon you've observed is real, but please rest assured that the destruction is genuine, and the data itself is accurate. The reason for this data change is that CMC (CoinMarketCap) has corrected the previous incomplete calculation method according to the official standards we provided. The details are as follows:

Why did the number "increase"?

CMC's previous calculation method only considered the GT issuance on Ethereum (300 million) minus the burned amount, without including the additional issuance of GT through the GateChain mainnet PoS mechanism. In the protocol design of GT, besides the initial issuance of 300 million on Ethereum, the GateChain mainnet also produces extra GT as node rewards through the PoS mining mechanism (up to 30 million, currently about 8.7 million have been produced).

Therefore, the correct calculation should be:

• Maximum supply = protocol cap (300 million + 30 million PoS cap) − total burned ≈ 142 million

• Total supply = actual minted amount (300 million + PoS output) − total burned ≈ 121 million

• Circulating supply = total supply − insurance fund lock-up ≈ 106 million (this part has never changed)

The amount burned itself has not changed, and the burns are all verifiable on-chain.

That is to say, for now, I'll just fool you around, who knows what tomorrow will bring!
