Just checked my lending position—the liquidation line is only about three steps away. My palm tightened, and I almost laughed: how did this laid-back person end up forcing themselves into something like this… I usually don’t go head-to-head with myself. First, I set aside that little vanity of leverage. If I can top up, I top up a bit (don’t yolo and top up until I have no ammo). If I don’t want to top up, then I honestly reduce my position—rather lose a bit of interest than get “popped” by a single pin. Then I make sure the reminders are turned on. If Gas is again priced ridiculously high, I’ll just admit defeat and withdraw part of it first, so I don’t get woken up in the middle of the night by liquidation alert SMS. It also reminded me of those recent social mining things and fan coins—saying attention is a mine too… For now, I only want to mine “don’t get liquidated.” Everything else can be whatever for now.
