What you’re imagining is that the platform could surge to the level of the world’s top institutions, and then make several hundred billion dollars in profit—but that’s not possible in reality. The gaps across every aspect are too large, and the fundamentals can’t support that kind of market value. If the fundamentals don’t hold up, you can only pull the price up by forcing it with capital. However, because the holdings are overly concentrated, major institutions simply can’t feel comfortable stepping in. So the platform can only do the pulling itself. To push it to a market value of several hundred billion dollars, you’d need to prepare tens of billions in funding. The platform doesn’t have that money. Therefore, since it can’t make several hundred billion, it might as well push it to a market value of just over 2 billion—then you’ll earn 100 million.
