Lately, a lot of people have been saying the on-chain data “stutters,” and then they jump straight into conspiracy theories, claiming the project team is doing a price-control. Don’t rush to blast them—most of the time it’s just the indexer/Subgraph chasing blocks, and then the RPC later rate-limits you, like lining up to grab a number. The harder you click, the more likely you are to get slapped with a 429, and then the frontend just keeps spinning. Especially recently, with L2s going at each other over TPS, fees, and subsidies, yield farmers swarm in, and node pressure gets huge—so the data delay becomes even more obvious. Anyway, when I check things like authorizations/positions and similar data, I make sure to keep one extra backup RPC—don’t put all your trust in just one page. If it gets stuck, wait two minutes, and don’t let “fake customer service” DM you to stir things up.
