I’ve been lurking in the group for a long time, but I can’t help popping in to say this: don’t put too much faith in that “real-time on-chain” line you see in your feed. What you actually open up and look at is the perspective your node/RPC gives you—sometimes it’s busy, sometimes you get rate-limited, and sometimes the indexer is slowly crawling data in the background… Put plainly, what you’re seeing might be “on-chain data from a few minutes ago,” not what’s happening right now. Yesterday I fell into this: it looked like nothing had moved, but the very next second, it all got filled in—my mindset almost went haywire along with the chart.

Recently, people have been chatting about how certain regions are changing taxes and compliance—tightening here, loosening there. Once expectations for deposits and withdrawals shift, everyone is more likely to rush onto the chain to look for evidence and self-soothe. Anyway, what I do now is: look at two different entry points to cross-check (different RPCs/different browsers), and then combine that with the order book. I’d rather be half a beat late than get led around by the “truth” of delayed data. That’s it for now.
