Codex has a really poor experience issue.

The built-in terminal isn’t shared across conversations (threads).
Even processes started in other conversations aren’t visible.
So if you used the command line in a conversation from ten hours ago, or if Codex helped you start something,
ten hours later you open countless new conversations,
and that thing is still running in the background—you may not even know what you started.
This also particularly affects operations when you’re developing and starting local services.
