I've always felt that the most human-like aspect of on-chain activity is "cutting in line."
Words like MEV and ordering sound very technical, but in transactions, it’s simply: you click confirm, someone else sneaks in ahead, and the slippage quietly changes.
In the end, the ones who get blamed are the most honest retail investors and those on both the market-making sides who aren’t fast enough.
Recently, before and after the upgrade/maintenance of that mainstream public chain, everyone in the group has been guessing whether projects will move away.
I think whether to migrate or not is one thing; if the ordering rules don’t change, someone can still cut in line elsewhere.
The more the market noise, the more I want to slow down my hand…
Not competing to race ahead, and trying to chase less if possible, just to start with.
