Since I started saving money, I tried many income and expense apps until I found the one that really suits me. At first, I thought any income and expense app would do, but it turns out each one has different strengths.

For a Thai person like me, MeowJot is great because just by taking a photo of the bank slip, the system automatically categorizes it. No need to type manually, saving a lot of time. After using it for a while, I could see my spending patterns. Money Lover is also good if you want detailed reports; this app helps plan your budget well.

But if you want a simple, straightforward income and expense app without complexity, Daak is perfect because it only includes essential features and isn’t confusing. As for Spendee, if used with a partner or family, it’s good to see the overall household spending.

Honestly, choosing an income and expense app depends on what we need. For Thais who use PromptPay a lot, try MeowJot. For those tracking credit cards, Piggipo is also a good choice. I’m now using several apps at once, but once I find the right income and expense app, I get hooked.
