People with weak constitutions, remember: seek support, not wealth. Once the breakthrough is achieved, it will be the peak.
I have a friend who runs an e-commerce business. The last time we met, I was shocked—he's in his early thirties but looks like he's in his forties.
He said every day when he opens his eyes, it's data, traffic, promotion costs; when he closes his eyes, it's inventory, accounts receivable, cash flow. Like a spinning top, being whipped by an invisible whip, unable to stop.
He asked me, "I started my business to make money, so why are all the earnings now going into inventory and next month's promotion costs? I have more money to spend than before I started working."
I said, "Then just stop doing it."
He forced a smile: "If I stop, the company will collapse."
I said, "That's a classic case— the more effort you put in, the less money you have."
Ancient people already said: a weak body cannot bear wealth.
It's not that your body is weak, but your core—energy, temperament, foundation—is still too thin.
A small sapling, with roots not yet stabilized, trying to withstand fierce winds and storms, will not grow fast but will be uprooted instead.
Many people suddenly catch the wind, get rich overnight, then quickly lose their way, lacking virtue for their position, and end up paying back the principal and interest, even accumulating debt.
Why? Because your CPU can't handle such large software; it crashes as soon as it runs.
So, people with weak bodies, don't rush to seek wealth. First, seek support.
What is support? Simply put, three things: body, cognition, temperament. These are for "charging" you, not draining you.
You spend a year reading a hundred books, earning no money, but your mind changes;
Getting up early and sleeping early, eating well, your performance doesn't improve, but your body changes;
Sitting quietly for half an hour every day, not scrolling your phone, your mind becomes calm.
These things don't bring money in the short term, but they are the foundation. Without a foundation, no matter how high you build, it will collapse quickly.
I gave that e-commerce friend three prescriptions:
① Nourish the body, turn off the late-night mode
Throw away all energy drinks and coffee. Must lie down before 11 pm, and the first thing in the morning is not to look at your phone but to go outdoors for an hour. Cook your own meals, stop ordering takeout.
Your body is your only capital; if you wreck it, even the God of Wealth can't get in.
② Wash your cognition, unfollow all "money-making" influencers
Unfollow all accounts on your phone that talk about traffic, viral products, quick cash, and leave all chat groups that chat about these topics.
I recommended three books: "Tao Te Ching," "Zeng Guofan's Family Letters," and "Selected Works of Mao." Read three hours a day, word by word.
These won't teach you how to make money, but they teach you about patterns, human nature, and true long-termism. When your mind is filled with "Dao," your heart becomes steady. You won't chase the wind, and the wind will come to you naturally.
③ Cultivate your temperament, give yourself one hour of "daydreaming" every day
Turn off your phone, don't read books, don't listen to music, just sit quietly. Observe your thoughts, see how anxiety, fear, jealousy, and impatience arise.
When you can watch your emotions rise without being carried away by them, you've won. This steadiness is your most valuable protective charm.
My friend was half skeptical but still followed through. He handed the company over to his deputy and took a half-year break.
The first month was especially painful, feeling like a useless person wanting to see data, but he endured.
After a month, his sleep improved, and he enjoyed his meals.
Three months later, he said he could understand the "Tao Te Ching," realizing it was full of business wisdom.
Six months later, he returned to the company, and everyone said he had changed: no more urgency, no more shouting, more steady.
He cut 80% of his product lines, keeping only the most profitable and best-rebuying products. He invested all the saved promotion costs into product development and customer service.
A year later, sales didn't skyrocket, but profit margins tripled, and cash flow was incredibly healthy. He would leave work at 3 pm every day, go home to drink tea, read, and spend time with his family.
He earned more money than before but felt a hundred times more relaxed.
He transformed from a "gyro" driven by his career into someone who masters his career. He broke through the barrier.
In this era, everyone urges you to move fast, seize the wind, and cash out immediately.
Few tell you: slow down first, cultivate yourself into a person full of energy.
Bamboo takes years to grow roots underground. Once it breaks the ground, it can shoot up into a towering tree in just a few days.
All the time you spend on "seeking support" will not be wasted. You are building a deeper, larger reservoir of energy for yourself.
When the reservoir is full, the moment to break through will arrive.
Previously, you begged others for cooperation; now, others will line up to find you.
Previously, everything felt exhausting; now, you have endless energy.
Previously, you feared missing the wind; now, you are the wind.
At this point, wealth is not something you chase but something that comes to you.
You no longer need to chase the light because you can shine on your own.
May you also endure loneliness and strengthen yourself.
Then, with one strike, break through.
