Lately I've been looking at cross-chain bridges again, and the more I look, the more they resemble ice cream melting under a heater: looks stable on the surface, but once it melts, it's a complete mess. Multi-signature sounds very secure, but having more people doesn't mean there's no risk of failure; oracles are more like "price feeding mouths," if the mouth is crooked, even the strongest bridge has to follow suit. So now I prefer to wait for multiple confirmations when cross-chain transferring, taking it slow so I have a clear mind; otherwise, if something really happens, I might not even have time to cry. (Don't ask, when waiting for confirmation, I also get itchy and want to click the confirm button.)

By the way, it made me think of the economic collapse in blockchain games—inflation + studio + coin price spiral—just like the risks of bridges: at first, everyone says "it's fine," but later it's just "how did it suddenly disappear." Anyway, I'm playing it safe for now, rather miss out than become a cautionary tale.
