OpenAI’s three major backers collectively bet on their opponents, Anthropic completes a $30 billion funding round with delivery this month
AIMPACT News, May 15 (UTC+8): According to Beating Monitoring, the terms of Anthropic’s new $30 billion funding round have already been finalized, with a pre-money valuation of $90 billion, and the deal is expected to complete within this month. The lead-investor lineup is the most noteworthy part of this funding round. Dragoneer, Greenoaks, Sequoia Capital, and Altimeter Capital are co-leading the round, with each investing at least $2 billion.
