just caught Vertex jumping almost 6% today and honestly it makes sense. goldman sachs analyst dropped a bullish note on it this morning before the market even opened, keeping his buy rating and that $23 price target which is like 80% above where it's trading now.

the analyst was pretty bullish on vertex's fintech positioning, especially their e-invoicing services and how they're using ai strategically. the company's had rough times lately so valuations look pretty reasonable right now. what caught my attention though is that 2025 revenue grew 12% year-over-year - not bad for a company that's been around since 1978.

they're also forecasting net income growth this year compared to last, which is solid. the thesis seems to be that vertex does well when the economy is humming, and we're in that kind of environment now. still, always worth doing your own research before jumping in. anyone else watching this stock or thinking about the vertices in the fintech space?
