According to Russia’s TASS news agency, Ivan Chebeskov, Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia, stated at the “Russian Digital Financial System” conference that the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Russia plan to complete the revision of the cryptocurrency market regulatory bill in the early part of next week, for submission to the State Duma for a second reading. According to the regulatory conceptual framework previously set out by the central bank, digital currencies and stablecoins will be recognized as foreign exchange assets.
