Renowned developer Theo exposes internal struggles at Google AI: The original Gemini CLI team was poached to develop Antigravity, core members were marginalized, and the original team's efforts went to waste; the Antigravity client frequently consumes tokens, and its interface plagiarizes Codex, with an official demo even revealing a folder named Codex. Theo states that the internal conflict is causing the loss of talented engineers, and Google may only produce "AI trash." He also criticizes Google Cloud for being unreliable, Railway for rate limiting causing outages, and incidents like the deletion of UniSuper cloud accounts, calling on developers to migrate out and switch to AWS/Azure.
