This wave of hype, I usually first look at whether the narrative is coherent: who is telling the story, who probably holds the chips, and whether there is a "must happen" time point next (like unlocking/airdrops/launches). Honestly, I’m not afraid of price fluctuations, I’m afraid of getting caught up in the moment.
I no longer rely on willpower for stop-losses, I just set reminders + limits: alert me when it hits a certain price, cut my position in half if it drops below a certain range, and treat the rest like a lottery ticket. Once I set that, I feel much calmer, no need to watch the charts constantly, my hands aren’t itchy, and even if I lose, it won’t ruin my whole day.
Recently, new L1/L2 projects are offering incentives to boost TVL, and old users complain about "mining, selling," which I can really empathize with: incentives come fast, and they go just as quickly. Seeing this kind of narrative, I assume the volatility will be even more intense, positions smaller, stop-losses tighter, but anyway, just focus on surviving first.
