Recently, I was reviewing what are truly the best apps to invest and make money when you have little capital, and the truth is that the landscape has changed quite a bit. You no longer need to have thousands of dollars to start trading, and that’s what surprised me the most while researching this.

MyTrade caught my attention because it’s super minimalist. You open the app and only see what you need: the chart and the trading buttons. You can start with $20, which is practically nothing. The best part is that it integrates TradingView directly, so technical analysis is there without complications. Ideal if you’re just starting out and don’t want the interface to overwhelm you.

But if you already have experience, AvaTrade offers something different. They have professional accounts with higher leverage and access to MetaTrader 4 and 5, which many advanced traders prefer. The minimum deposit is $100, so it’s a step further.

Plus500 is for those seeking variety. They have over 2,800 CFDs on stocks, cryptocurrencies, indices, and even futures. They recently entered the prediction market, which is something new. But it also requires a minimum of $100.

XM is interesting if what you want is high leverage, up to 1000x. You have micro account options starting at $5, so the entry barrier is low. But obviously, such leverage involves serious risk.

eToro is different because you don’t just trade, but you copy other investors’ operations. It’s like learning by watching experts in action. Minimum deposit of $50 and it works well if you prefer a more social environment.

What became clear to me is that there is no universal best app. It all depends on whether you’re a beginner or experienced, if you want to automate with copy trading or prefer to trade manually, if you’re looking for low spreads or high leverage. The important thing is that now there are apps to invest and make money that are truly accessible to everyone, but always remember that all of this involves risk. It’s not magic, it’s work and education.
