Just now, I had that itch again of "This K looks like it's about to fly," almost wanted to add to my position and chase it… I paused and asked myself: Am I seeing new information, or am I just afraid of missing out and getting anxious? Honestly, if there really was new information, I could explain the logic, where to set the stop loss, and what to do if I’m wrong in one sentence; if I can't, it's probably just my emotions pushing my position.
Recently, social mining and fan tokens, this "attention equals mining" thing, have been pretty noisy. The more I watch, the easier it is to get hooked, because you're not trading the asset, you're trading your mood being led by the rhythm. Anyway, I first put my phone down, go back and add a couple of lines to today's trading record, and clearly write: Was this trade driven by information or emotion?
