I've been trying out different apps for trading with little money for a while, and honestly, the market has changed quite a bit. Years ago, it was almost impossible to start with $20 or $50, but now there are legitimate options that really work if you know what you're looking for.

MyTrade surprised me a lot. The interface is clean, without too many unnecessary buttons, and you can trade stocks, forex, Bitcoin, all from a single account. The minimum deposit of $20 is ridiculously accessible for beginners. It has integrated TradingView charts and the demo account with $50k virtuals allows you to practice risk-free. I think it's the best app for beginners because it doesn't overwhelm you.

Now, if you already have experience, AvaTrade offers something different. Founded in 2006, it has over 1200 assets and you can choose between retail or professional accounts depending on your needs. MetaTrader 4 and 5, WebTrader, its own app... many options. The minimum deposit is $100, but it's worth it if you're looking for higher leverage and professional tools.

Plus500 is another standout. Listed in London, it has more than 2800 CFDs and recently added futures on the US market. The variety of assets is impressive. However, it also requires a minimum of $100 and is more geared toward active traders with prior experience.

XM is interesting if what attracts you is extreme leverage. Up to 1:1000, deposits from $5, and compatible with MetaTrader. It offers various account types depending on your profile. But beware, that high leverage is risky if you don't know what you're doing.

And then there's eToro, which is different because it offers copy trading. You automatically copy experienced traders, investing from $200 per trader. Good for those who want to learn by watching others trade. Minimum deposit of $50.

The truth is, the best app for trading totally depends on your profile. If you're just starting out and have little capital, MiTrade is hard to beat. If you've been trading for a while, AvaTrade or XM give you more flexibility. Plus500 if you want maximum variety of assets. And eToro if you prefer to follow others instead of making decisions on your own.

The important thing is to practice on a demo before investing real money, understand the risks of leverage, and not let FOMO take over. All trading involves risk, but at least now the barriers to entry are much lower than a few years ago.
