I just spent about an hour comparing trading apps because I wanted to start investing but with little money, and honestly I thought it would be more complicated. It turns out there are quite a few decent options now.

The interesting thing is that the best trading apps for beginners really let you start with small amounts. MyTrade caught my attention because you can start with just $20 USD and the interface is clean, without much noise. It has integrated TradingView charts, tight spreads, and a demo account with 50k virtual funds to practice risk-free. Perfect if you don’t want to get complicated.

But if you already have experience, things change. AvaTrade offers more professional tools, MetaTrader 4 and 5, and advanced options. XM is similar but with more aggressive leverage (up to 1000x, although that’s risky). Plus500 has a huge variety of assets, over 2800 CFDs, and they’ve just entered futures and prediction markets.

Then there’s eToro, which is different because it has copy trading. Basically, you automatically copy what experienced traders do. For those who want to learn by watching others trade, it works well.

The best trading apps depend a lot on your profile. If you’re a beginner and want something simple with a low deposit, go with MyTrade. If you’re looking for more market variety and know what you’re doing, Plus500 or AvaTrade are solid. XM if you want extreme leverage (but be careful, it’s risky). And eToro if you prefer to follow others instead of trading on your own.

All of them have official regulation, so it’s not like jumping into the void. What’s more: before putting in real money, practice with demo accounts. All offer them. And remember that trading always involves risk, it’s not magic. But if you want to explore the best trading apps with little capital, these are definitely the ones worth it right now.
