just scrolling through and realized how insane some of these supply caps actually are. like, there are crypto coins out there with fewer tokens than you'd think exist. the scarcity game is real.

YFI caught my eye - only 36,666 tokens ever. that's genuinely wild. sitting around $2.6K right now, which means the total supply is basically pocket change compared to most projects. then there's WBTC which is just wrapped bitcoin, so it's capped at 21 million like the real thing. each one backed 1:1, so you know exactly what you're holding.

XOR is interesting too - 350K max supply and it's built into the network itself for governance and fees. the deflationary mechanics mean supply actually shrinks over time. these rare cryptos are the opposite of the usual token spam.

there's also BOMB which is literally just 888 tokens. experimental deflationary token that burns supply as it goes. low liquidity but the concept is kind of genius if you think about it.

and INSURE in the DeFi insurance space, 10 million cap, actual utility in the ecosystem. not just another random token.

the more i look at these rare cryptos, the more i realize most projects just print infinite supply and call it a day. these ones actually have real constraints. makes you wonder what the market would look like if more projects did this.
