I just realized that to make good profits in crypto, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars. In fact, coins with potential under $1 often offer the biggest growth opportunities, especially for long-term investors. I’ve researched thoroughly and want to share 5 projects I’m tracking — all have solid technology, practical foundations, and increasing adoption.
VeChain (VET) is currently around $0.01. This is a blockchain for logistics and supply chains, partnered with names like Walmart China, BMW. This year, VeChain is undergoing a comprehensive modernization (VeChain Renaissance), improving tokenomics and consensus mechanisms. The two-token model (VET + VTHO) allows companies to use the network with low and predictable fees.
Kaspa (KAS) is currently priced at $0.04 — I find this quite attractive. It uses blockDAG, processing up to 10 blocks per second, extremely fast and highly scalable. The GHOSTDAG technology eliminates resource waste. The cool thing is Kaspa has no premining, fully decentralized. Smart contracts and layer 2 will be implemented soon.
Cardano (ADA) costs $0.26, still cheap and one of the biggest projects. Its research-based approach is a strength. This year, the Chang Hard Fork and Hydra Layer-2 will enhance scalability. Staking ADA is easy and provides passive income. ETF potential could trigger a strong upward trend next year.
Stellar (XLM) is now $0.15, focused on low-cost cross-border payments — perfect for migration, fintech. This year, partnerships with PayPal and Paxos will increase. The Soroban smart contract platform can expand applications. Stellar’s development fund targets Africa, South America, and Asia — huge emerging markets just starting with blockchain.
Hedera (HBAR) is priced at $0.09. It uses Hashgraph — a directed acyclic graph technology, processing hundreds of thousands of transactions per second. Managed by a global council (Google, IBM, Boeing). Carbon-negative, attractive to ESG investors. Layer 2 development and enterprise applications are upcoming.
Overall, 2025-2026 is the time when promising coins under $1 could play a crucial role. Kaspa, VeChain, Stellar — all offer unique technological solutions and are increasingly attracting institutional investors. Importantly, the current price allows anyone to participate. If you’re looking for projects with significant growth potential, these 5 should be on your watchlist.
