Golden Finance reports that on May 14th, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee will hold a key amendment hearing this Thursday local time on the “Digital Asset Market Clarity Act” (referred to as the CLARITY Act), officially advancing this highly anticipated cryptocurrency market structure bill. Twenty-four senators will discuss and vote on dozens of amendments to the bill text, and ultimately decide whether to submit the bill to the full Senate for consideration. If passed, the bill will still need to be integrated with the version from the Senate Agriculture Committee, and after votes and coordination between the House and Senate, it can be submitted for presidential signature to become law.
