I've noticed that crypto games are really gaining momentum this year. Not that I'm a gaming fanatic, but when a game also generates income through tokens and NFTs — that's already interesting. Especially when these assets can be sold for real money.
I saw that Axie Infinity is still among the top P2E projects. People play battles with monsters there and earn SLP and AXS. Of course, currently AXS is slightly in the red (-0.62% according to the latest data), but the project has been on the market for a long time and maintains its position. The Sandbox is also interesting — it's more about creating virtual worlds and trading within them. SAND also dropped by -0.72%, but the idea of partnerships with major brands sounds solid. Illuvium looks more impressive in terms of graphics quality; it's a more serious RPG, not just a clicker. ILV is actually growing now (+1.13%), maybe something is happening there.
Overall, crypto games are no longer quite exotic. The market is worth billions, and people are really earning or losing money. If you look at crypto games as an investment, you need to understand that it’s risky. Tokens are volatile, players come and go. But if you believe in the idea that virtual assets will have real value in the future — it makes sense to keep an eye on this sector.
What do you think about crypto games? Is anyone really making money from them, or is it more about speculating on tokens?
