The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act will reshape the U.S. financial system

Cbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, which is advancing in the Senate, could fundamentally reshape the U.S. financial system. The bill is gaining strong momentum in Congress, and Armstrong called it "a true compromise," balancing the interests of the crypto industry and traditional banking. He noted that this is the best state since negotiations began. The Senate Banking Committee plans to hold its first formal vote on the bill on May 14, with Chairman Tim Scott setting a target for a full Senate vote in June or July 2026. The bill was passed in the House with a bipartisan vote of 294 to 134, and then underwent two canceled hearings in the Senate Banking Committee. The core of the bill is to clarify the regulatory boundaries between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Little Caishen thinks that whether it can reshape the U.S. financial system is uncertain, but it will definitely reshape the market trend of Bitcoin. Today, we need to closely watch the Senate Committee's voting results. If it passes, the market will take off immediately; if it fails, it’s unlikely that the "Clarity Act" will become law this year, and the market may crash again.
