I noticed interesting data about Iran's economy. According to the IMF, Iran's nominal GDP in 2025 was about $356 billion with a growth rate of only 0.6% — a quite modest figure. What is more indicative is that the GDP per capita fell by 15.3% year over year, from $4,810 to $4,074. With a population of over 92 million people, this is a significant decline in individual prosperity. It seems Iran's economy faced serious challenges last year. It's interesting to watch how the situation develops further and whether Iran's GDP will recover in the coming periods.
