A good company ≠ a good stock price; a good stock price ≠ a good company.

It all comes down to where the stock price is within the cycle. If it’s in a bull market, even a junk company’s stock can fly; but if it’s in a bear market, no matter how much good or bad news is released, rest assured—the order book (the trading “board”) will still get shaken out the same way, and the stock price still won’t be able to rise.
The key point is to judge which part of the cycle the market is in!
The way the cycle’s candlestick chart and indicators link up at different positions in the cycle must be etched into your mind—so you can call it up anytime, anywhere.
