These past few days, I set a "stop" rule for myself: stop, watch, stop scrolling. Airdrop interactions are really the easiest place to get rekt; just scrolling through Twitter makes you feel like you're missing out if you don't participate, but honestly, many tasks are just making you free traffic + fee fuel... I now prefer to pause for a bit and see what it really wants: whether it's seriously developing the product or just adding tasks and pulling in studios. The kind of inflation + studio + coin price spiral collapse point in chain games can actually be replicated in airdrops by just changing the disguise. My approach is pretty simple: only keep a few protocols that I really use, separate wallets, small limits, and when I see "last wave for a limited time," I stop scrolling for half an hour before deciding. Anyway, if I miss out, I miss out. Sometimes I do FOMO, but at least don’t curse rekt while getting hyped and sending money.
