Lately, when the group chat gets flooded with messages, I just know I’m about to be targeted by “impulsiveness” again. All kinds of screenshots, a one-liner from KOLs, and then “you know what”… In the end, whether you buy or not comes down to the confirmation you hit yourself—so blaming someone else doesn’t really hold water. KOLs do have a responsibility not to throw the timing off, but that kind of emotion spreading in the group where even the sources aren’t posted is more likely to push people over the edge.

The other day I also saw everyone tying ETF fund flows, US stock risk appetite, and crypto market ups and downs together in their interpretation. I’ll look too, but only as background noise. If I’m the one making the call, what matters is whether I’ve already thought through stop-loss, position sizing, and whether I can actually weather the worst-case scenario. After being taught about impermanence once, I’d rather make a little less now—at least I’ll be able to stay alive first.
