I used to see the words “arbitrage” on-chain and get an itch—I felt like I could grab a bargain too; now I basically ask one thing first: am I looking at an opportunity, or is someone else sandwiching me to collect fees? The moment you place your order, slippage, congestion, and priority fees are all lining up to eat you. The ones who can come out ahead are often not “more clever,” but simply have earlier position, faster information, and a bigger wallet.

Also, about the blockchain game scene: in the past, I watched the chaos and thought that if there were a lot of people, it could hold. Now I see the inflation + studio + coin-price spiral—it’s like getting sandwiched. In the end, the one who still pays the bill is retail sentiment. Anyway, my rules are pretty old-school: don’t chase after trades. I’d rather miss out. If I really want to do it, I first set a stop-loss, finish the trade, and then go to sleep—don’t use your pride to go head-to-head with on-chain speed.
