Last night I was insomnia-scrolling on-chain again, seeing a bunch of AI Agents automatically placing orders and automatically swapping coins—pretty cool. But honestly, what I’m most worried about is still the “last mile.” The moment of authorization, which route it takes, slippage suddenly maxing out, and those contract-upgrade/signature pop-ups that make human instincts hesitate—they’re hard to replace when you need someone to be on the hook. The group chat is also circulating talk about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and rumors of someone “de-pegging.” My finger has been hovering over the confirm key, trembling twice—my anxiety is real. Later I realized that what truly needs a human backup isn’t that the strategy is smart, but whether, when something goes wrong, you can immediately hit the kill switch, revoke permissions, and cut your position down… Anyway, I’d rather make a little less now than leave the emergency brake to anyone but myself.
