The most frightening thing about a contract isn't how much money it blows up, but how it changes your view of money. When you feel that nothing you do has any meaning, and you can't find any interest, and at the same time you're thinking about relying on the contract to recover your losses, that's the most terrifying. And it's also a bottomless pit.
