Resources are all equal.

Over a decade ago, I was working as a part-time secretary for a company or government agency boss.
The boss's resources were top-notch, and he would basically take me along to all his social occasions.
All the company’s big and small matters were handled by me.
It was because the boss authorized me to do so.
During festivals like Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Chinese New Year, the company leaders would invite me to meals and also give me gifts.
(At first, I was a bit confused—why were these bosses so polite to me one after another?)
Initially, I thought I was pretty impressive myself, but later I realized it was my platform resources that were impressive.
Who truly has a good relationship with you? It’s those who find you useful.
By the end of the year, project payments are used to pay migrant workers’ wages and material costs.
All the general contractors and subcontractors are eager for money; no one is not anxious about cash.
We also have supervisory departments above us, and we have to rack our brains to deal with them.
Just a phone call from you, and they’ll handle the matter for you—that’s not realistic.
Sometimes, the project funds are only transferred on the 28th or 29th of the lunar month.
The finance bureau and project parties only release the funds after that.
I am a key intermediary who can directly connect the company’s chairman, the engineering department, and the finance department.
There have been a few times when some bosses were even arrogant and pushed me, speaking in a commanding tone, which was quite uncomfortable to hear.
If you have money, 💰 mind your own business—that’s not how it works.
If the chairman hasn’t signed, and the finance department hasn’t signed, the funds can’t be transferred.
Because, before this, my own company encountered a situation where the other company kept saying the chairman was on a business trip, waiting for him to return and sign, then the process would be completed, and the funds would be transferred.
Later, I found out it was because I didn’t go to "bai ma tou" (pay respects at the dock), and someone was deliberately blocking you.
Either the chairman was on a business trip, or the financial director wasn’t in the company—anyway, it was missing a procedural signature or official seal.
It’s useless to just burn incense and then scramble at the last minute.
You must have your own value—why would others give you good opportunities?
If you’re not an alpha, it’s useless to know anyone; you need to improve your core competitiveness.
The real opportunities to make money are never free; there’s always a price.
Things that can be obtained for free are basically useless.
