This morning, I was browsing the chain and saw someone ask, "What's the big deal if the price feed is a bit slow"… To be honest, it's not just the display line that’s slow, it's the liquidation sword behind it. You think your position is still safe, but in the backend, they’re calculating based on the old price; by the time you react and add margin, you might have already been liquidated. Especially during those few minutes of high volatility, delay equals taking one more punch.
Recently, cross-chain bridges have been hacked again, and everyone is looking for reassurance in the phrase "waiting for confirmation"; if an oracle reports an abnormal price, liquidation can come much faster than confirmation… I now prefer to keep my positions lighter, set stop-losses earlier, anyway, don’t gamble on human nature with delays.
You say, "Then just use big protocols for stability"… Well, let’s not speak too confidently just yet.
