FIS, Anthropic Launch AI Agent for $40B AML Workload
FIS and Anthropic launched an AI agent aimed at the $35 billion–$40 billion annual AML workload at U.S. financial institutions. BMO and Amalgamated Bank are among the first pilot banks, and general availability is planned for the second half of 2026. FIS said the tool keeps human investigators in the approval loop while pulling evidence from core banking systems.
