Cuba's Rodriguez Calls Rubio's 'No Oil Blockade' Claim a Lie
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said Marco Rubio’s claim that Cuba is not under an oil blockade is a lie, adding that only one fuel-carrying vessel has reached Cuba over the past period. Rodriguez pointed to Donald Trump’s January 29 executive order threatening ad valorem tariffs on countries that provide oil to Cuba and said a May 1 order expanded sanctions.
