Recently, I’ve been looking at a bunch of AI Agents claiming they can automatically interact on the blockchain. It sounds great, and I’m really tempted to let them take over… To be honest, they can click “confirm,” but if something goes wrong, it’s still my wallet taking the hit. Authorization steps need to be manually approved, especially those with unlimited limits, which feels like “giving the house key to a stranger and letting them copy it at will.” Also, choosing between routing/slippage/cross-chain bridges—Agents might calculate diligently, but when faced with being sandwiched or a sudden drop in liquidity pools, they won’t feel the pain for me. Not to mention that current on-chain data tools and tagging systems are criticized for lagging behind or even misleading you. If you ask an Agent to monitor a “safe address,” and their tags are half a beat late… it’s funny but really frustrating. Anyway, my current rule is: it handles the errands, I handle the brakes, and stop-losses are as routine as brushing my teeth.
