On May 2, it was reported that a joint poll conducted by The Washington Post, ABC News, and Ipsos revealed that 61% of Americans believe that the use of military force against Iran is a ‘mistake.’ Additionally, regarding economic concerns, about 23% of American respondents indicated that their financial situation is ‘getting tighter,’ an increase from 17% in February. High oil prices have significantly impacted the lives of Americans: 44% of respondents have reduced driving, 42% have cut household spending, and 34% have adjusted travel plans. Approximately half of the respondents expect oil prices to rise further in the coming year, while only 21% believe they will decrease. (CCTV)
