Spot trading never lets me hold steady, and futures get liquidated at the drop of a hat. Put simply, it’s because my position is set to “full max capacity,” and my mindset is literally being dragged around by the price. Now I give myself some plain, human advice: set aside the portion that lets me sleep, and only the rest is worth messing with. For spot, I just treat it like slowly accumulating pixel assets—if it drops, it’s not enough to make me want to smash my phone. Futures are even simpler: keep the position so small it’s ridiculous, set the stop-loss properly, or else one needle-like move will snap me from an “optimistic cat” right back into a “stray cat”… These days I’ve been watching Layer2 folks argue like crazy over TPS, fees, and subsidies in side-by-side comparisons. Anyway, I’m not picking a team for now—no matter how good the data looks, it still can’t stop my emotions from going haywire and opening big positions. Stay alive first—only then will there be the next episode of this little drama.
