Analysis: The Iran deadlock could make President Trump's situation worse than before the conflict began.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 2nd, according to foreign media analysis reports, the Iran conflict has lasted for more than two months, but no decisive military or diplomatic results have been achieved. During this period, Trump faces a risk: the deadlock with Iran could continue indefinitely, bringing more serious problems to the United States and the world than before he initiated this war.
Since both sides appear confident on the surface, believe they hold the advantage, and their positions are far apart, there currently seems to be no obvious path to de-escalation, even though Iran has proposed new negotiations, Trump quickly rejected it on Friday.
For Trump and his Republican Party, the consequences of the ongoing deadlock are extremely serious. If the conflict cannot be resolved, the negative impact on the global economy (including high gasoline prices in the U.S.) is likely to persist, which will put greater pressure on Trump (whose approval ratings are declining), and also make the prospects for Republican candidates even more bleak, especially before the midterm congressional elections in November.
