Recently, I’ve been suspicious about the on-chain data I’ve been browsing… For the same transaction, some places show it instantly, while others seem to update after half a block. Thinking about it later, it’s normal, right? Nodes, RPC, indexers all run independently. You think you’re looking at “real-time,” but actually you’re seeing data after others have processed and organized it, and delays are quite common. Especially with NFT floor prices and emotional trading, a delay of a few minutes can lead to misjudgments like “Why did it suddenly crash?” or “Why did it suddenly skyrocket?” Social mining and fan tokens, where “attention equals mining,” are the same. The hotness you see might just be delayed and filtered results, so don’t take the timeline too seriously.

What I don’t regret is: before drawing conclusions, I always compare two or three more data sources. Even if it’s a bit troublesome, it’s better than being misled by “fake real-time” data.
