Hard work seems to be the least valuable thing, but at the same time the most valued by others.

At school: You can't improve your grades, and the teacher thinks it's because you're not working hard enough.
At home: You haven't made a name for yourself, and your parents think it's because you're not working hard enough.
In society: You can't make money, and the boss thinks it's because you're not working hard enough.
It seems to be saying that all your failures come from not working hard enough, and no one ever tells you how to choose the right direction for effort.
Does working hard in the opposite direction really work?
