A few days ago, I saw a bunch of PFPs shouting "Join the group, get membership, bind the brand for long-term value," my first reaction wasn't FOMO, but an automatic image of a cross-chain tightrope: first ask who sets the rules, who holds the keys, who takes the blame if something goes wrong... otherwise, so-called membership is basically just a screenshot plus a bunch of promises.

I haven't been tempted either. Last year, there was a project that was pretty lively, claiming that buying a PFP would get you into the "core circle," and hinted at airdrops. I looked at the contract and permissions page for ten minutes, and the more I looked, the more suspicious I became: the permission upgrades were too broad, and who signed multiple times wasn't clearly stated. I quietly closed it, and later when friends joined, after the hype died down, the group was as empty as a ghost town... Anyway, I just said at the time: if you don't understand it, don't move first; taking it slow is fine.

Now, with Meme and celebrity shoutouts, the attention rotation is too fast, and I truly believe veteran players advising newcomers not to take the last step. Brands can of course develop, but I prefer to see it as "possibility," not "guarantee." That's all for now—better to stay steady and sleep well.
