Lately, I've been overwhelmed by DAO proposals, which on the surface talk about "optimizing incentives" and "increasing participation," but essentially it's just about redistributing the cake. Who has voting rights, who can propose, who can turn off a certain switch... these are much more real than slogans. I've voted a few times with small positions, and the more I vote, the more I feel: incentives are not rewards, they are the steering wheel, and the person holding it decides which way the car turns.

Then I thought about the recent NFT royalty disputes, which are the same kind of vibe: creators want ongoing income, traders dislike it because it affects liquidity, and in the end, it’s really about "who has the power to take a cut from the secondary market." Anyway, when I look at proposals now, I first try to find where that "steering wheel" is hidden, so I don’t get distracted by a few meme images and airdrop expectations... In the end, I realize you're not voting on opinions, but on sides.
