BlockBeats News, April 28 — Elon Musk has arrived at the Oakland Federal Court in California to present his case regarding his lawsuit against OpenAI.

Earlier reports state that Musk accused Altman and Brockman of promising to keep OpenAI non-profit permanently when it was founded in 2015, inducing him to invest $38 million, but OpenAI later transitioned to a for-profit structure. Musk claims damages up to $134 billion, stating that the compensation will be fully returned to the non-profit part of OpenAI, and requests the removal of Altman and Brockman, as well as the reversal of the for-profit transition. The presiding judge is Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, and the liability determination phase is expected to last until mid-May, with both parties scheduled to testify.
