CryptoWorld News reports that the deputy commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that Iran has achieved absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz and demands passing ships to pay tolls. He emphasized that the territorial sovereignty of the Strait of Hormuz is inviolable, and foreign ships passing through the channel must comply with the rules set by Iran, including communicating in Persian. He said, “Without the orders of the Supreme Leader and the will of the people, Iran will not allow even a single drop of oil to flow out of the strait.” He also stated that the Iranian military is currently “holding the trigger” and is on high alert, and claimed that U.S. dominance in the Persian Gulf has ended, reaffirming Iran’s ability to respond to any form of maritime blockade.
