Mars Finance News, April 28—According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, since the beginning of this year, China has implemented skill enhancement actions around key sectors and key groups. To date, more than 300 industry-education evaluation skill ecosystem chains have been cultivated. Since the beginning of this year, China has carried out large-scale skill enhancement actions for key areas such as artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and health and wellness services, as well as key groups including college graduates and migrant workers. It has deeply implemented the “New Eighth-Level Worker” vocational skill grade system. In the first quarter alone, 112.8 hundred-thousand person-times of people newly obtained certificates for senior worker or above professional qualifications, or vocational skill level certificates. Next, the country will strengthen general education in artificial intelligence, continuously improve workers’ digital literacy and their capability to apply artificial intelligence. It will implement skill enhancement training for one million youth, making skill training more closely aligned with industries and job roles. It will promote training services to go deeper into enterprises, institutions, and towns, and build training service networks such as a “30-minute training circle” and “skill refueling stations,” so that more workers can take part in training locally and conveniently. Zhai Tao, Deputy Director of the Department of Vocational Capacity Building of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said that efforts will be made to ensure vocational and technical colleges generally align with enterprise needs, conduct order-based training, and promote job-skill matching. It will closely focus on employment areas that urgently need talent and are in short supply; with initiatives driven by the government, it will vigorously carry out project-based training and strengthen the supply of skilled talent.
