CryptoWorld News: Ondo Finance has added proxy voting capabilities to its tokenized stock worth $700 million, enabling holders to participate in corporate governance. The feature is provided by Broadridge Financial Solutions, allowing investors holding more than 250 types of tokenized securities to view company documents and submit voting preferences through Broadridge’s ProxyVote system. Investors can log in using a crypto wallet to access documents and governance tools that are typically limited to brokerage accounts. This comes as tokenized stocks are becoming one of the fastest-growing areas in the crypto industry, with a currently locked-in value exceeding $1.1 billion—up threefold over the past year. Ondo is the largest issuer in this space, reporting that its global market platform has more than $700 million worth of stock and ETF tokens, targeting non-U.S. investors. The addition of proxy voting enables investors to express their preferences, which Ondo can apply when casting votes.
