Pornhub to Gradually Replace USDT Payments with USDC
On April 23, information released by content creators indicated that the adult website Pornhub will switch its cryptocurrency payment option from USDT to USDC to make user payments more reliable. Pornhub stated that it is gradually phasing out Tether (USDT) and has just introduced USD Coin (USDC). USDC is a fully reserve-backed, MiCA-compliant, and regulated stablecoin that provides a safer option for creators’ income. Creators currently receiving USDT payments are advised to update their payment information by June 1, 2026.
