Lummis: Plans to push the “CLARITY Act” into the legislative review process; Bitcoin is a “truly free currency”
Golden Finance reports that on April 28th, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis stated at the “Bitcoin 2026” conference that she plans to push the Clarity Act into the review process and promote its final implementation to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for the U.S. cryptocurrency market.
Lummis also said that Bitcoin, with its features of no need for a trusted third party and a limited total supply, is a “true free currency,” and believes the U.S. should become the global hub for this asset.
